I’ve always known I was a creative person. I’ve always been drawn to music, art and design. I even had an early interest in writing, but was embarrassed as a girl by my inability to spell correctly.
Not being able to learn how to read music was also a determent in my life, yet my ability to harmonize and memorize words and tunes became a finely honed skill in my love for music.
At times, I’ve noticed that words do not come easily to me. I’ve had many things to say, yet my words have seemed locked up deep inside…
So it was with great surprise that I entered into this year of 2008 with three solid months of words flowing out! I wrote over 50 poems during this time, with many of them coming to me as music. I also produced some art pieces to go with a few of my poems and songs!
This blog is an attempt to share this spring time blessing given me, with hopes that my words can help others who deal with the same kinds of stuff that has held me back for too many years!
Please be patient as I attempt to import my words in some assemblance of order which is not necessarily by date! The titles accompanied by an astress mean that the words came with song. I haven’t yet had the time or expertise to get my art pieces onto this blog.
